In the BOT model (Build Operate Transfer) you hire TWB to build shared services or offshore development centers and operate it for a fixed interim period. You should have the expectation that TWB will initiate operations and reach operating stability much faster than if it were an in-house effort.

TWB’s managed-team model ensures that the team reaches maximum effectiveness in the minimum possible time and meets the following criteria:

	Is a team of individuals with command over the English language (written and verbal)
	Has very high documentation development competency
	Has a high appreciation of documentation processes including the documentation management life cycle, program management processes and offshore development processes
	Has effective customer/client interaction capability
	Has effective skill working as a team
	Has established effective protocols for cross functional team interactions
	Has effective managerial/reporting relationships

You may require BOT if you:

	Have the critical volumes to require your own technical documentation team
	Do not have ready access to quality technical writing resources
	Do not have the infrastructure to hire and train technical writers, or
	Do not have the management time to create and manage a technical writing team

Engagement model:

With TWB you can outsource the entire process of setting up an effective team. In order to achieve the end objective TWB will staff, train, lay out the operation processes and eventually transfer this organization to you. TWB therefore will build a technical writing team according to your specifications, trained in industry standards and/or your custom tools, methodology and concepts. This team will be managed by TWB for a period ranging from 6 months to 2 years. Once you are ready to manage the team, it will be transferred over to you.

	TWB can deliver either all, or parts, of the value chain
	TWB will assign a program manager to manage the program from start to finish
	Depending on the adopted model, TWB would be responsible for setting up and organizing the required computing facilities and software.
	TWB will manage the SLAs for the duration of the contract.
	If required, TWB will continue to program-manage the team once it is handed over to you on a contract basis.
