Bangalore, Aug.16 The Writers Block (TWB) has augmented its service offerings by collaborating with Technocraft Solutions based in Quebec, Canada, which specialises in aerospace and defence engineering and integrated logistics support services.

TWB offers technical documentation across sectors, including telecom, pharmaceuticals, consulting, education, IT/ITES, financial services, biotech, manufacturing and heavy engineering, said a company release.
Huge Deficit

India’s air travel is expected to grow at 7.7 per cent in the next two decades against the global growth rate of 4.7 per cent. Airspace infrastructure, which includes airport equipment and machinery, faces a huge deficit that needs to be addressed by the aerospace industry.

According to the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies & Industries, the country’s needs of civil aircraft are worth $20 billion in the next 10 years. Airport infrastructure worth $3.5 billion will be required during the current decade, whereas the maintenance market including spares currently is estimated to be at $100 million annually. Military aerospace market is valued at over $150 billion for the next 20 years.

The collaboration between TWB and Technocraft will extend an institutional service base to companies in aerospace and defence to extend a portfolio of solutions, which include technical documentation, interactive technical and training manuals.
