In most developed software markets, about 5-7 per cent of the total workforce is dedicated to technical documentation. In India, this number at present is estimated to be a minuscule 0.1 per cent. With the Indian software industry not only growing by leaps and bounds, but also moving up the complexity ladder, there is clearly a dire need for high quallity technical documentation capabilities.
