The Writers Block (TWB) has introduced ship building and shipping industry focused technical documentation and technical knowledge publishing solutions. This initiative by TWB is driven by the growing demand of quality communication by the Indian shipping industry, said the company.
Besides operations and maintenance manuals TWB will provide technical documentation for online help systems, equipment installation guides, process documentation, and organisational procedures and quality documentation. TWB solutions include training and support; integrated logistics management and IETM’s (completely software driven, single sourced, interactive with 2D and 3D illustrations).
Elaborating on TWB’s foray, Rakesh Shukla, chief executive officer, TWB, said, “There is an acute need for quality technical documentation and technical publication solutions within the shipping industry. All TWB solutions will comply with shipping standards that include IMO, SOLAS and Classification Society standards DNV, ABS IRS and LRS.
